Rhiannon Traish-Walker

Title: Wildlife Vet Nurse, Reception Team Leader

Qualifications: Certificate III Captive Animal Management, Certificate IV Veterinary Nursing and Certificate III Animal Science.

Time at CWH: Rhi began volunteering at Currumbin Wildlife Hospital in 2016 and became a staff member in November 2021.

A passionate advocate for bats: Rhi has been rescuing and caring for Bats since 2015 and is specialised in hand-raising orphaned Flying-Foxes and critical care adult Flying-Foxes. She sees all creatures as having their own beautiful personality and their own lives they deserve to live, even if we don’t have the personal pleasure of meeting them.
