Quinnie the Pelican

Unable to fly and having a limp, Quinnie the Pelican was admitted into Currumbin Wildlife Hospital.

Poor Quinnie has continued to be weak and unstable; therefore, the vet team haven’t been able to do the extensive medical workup they usually perform.

In this photo, Vet Sophie and Vet Nurse Bronte are conducting a blood test to gain some insights so Quinnie can be treated, rehabilitated, and released back into the wild as soon as possible.

Here at Currumbin Wildlife Hospital, the team will do everything they can to save every wildlife patient that comes through the doors.
