Currumbin Wildlife Hospital treats 252 different species and in 2023 there were 13,661 patients admitted.

On any given day, there can be up to around 125 sick, injured, or orphaned patients requiring immediate medical assistance.

Our resilient vet team alongside generous volunteers work around the clock to treat, rehabilitate, and release wildlife patients.

Around every corner, there is a dedicated member of our vet team assisting sick, injured, and orphaned wildlife patients.

The Wildlife Hospital Tour is a 60-minute journey of discovering the behind-the-scenes of Currumbin Wildlife Hospital.

The tour explores all areas of the Hospital including surgery, Koala rehab, turtle pools, raptor rehab and even a feather library to name a few locations.

It’s an amazing opportunity to connect with the passionate vet team and learn about the future of saving wildlife.

The biggest threat to native wildlife is human impact, so it’s up to us to turn it around and create a positive impact!

The Currumbin Wildlife Hospital mission is as strong as ever with 182 volunteers working 26, 514 hours in 2023.
