Community Spirit in Currumbin Valley

At the Tani Tei En Open Garden in Currumbin Valley, not only did we enjoy the stunning gardens, but we also raised vital awareness and funds for Currumbin Wildlife Hospital and Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary Conservation Programs.

It was heart-warming to see so many people attend - thank you to all the community members who visited and generously donated.

Our fundraising marque was a great success, not only in terms of funds raised but also in terms of engagement and support. There were so many people who bought raffle tickets, entered our competitions, and eagerly bought our Show Bags!

The Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary Education team was there each afternoon with “Wildlife on Wheels” (phasmids, lizards, snakes!), as well as fun activities for kids and families.

A massive thank you to our amazing volunteers and team for dedicating their time to spreading awareness about the vital work of Currumbin Wildlife Hospital and Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary Conservation.

Most of all, thank you Bob and Ev Marshall for opening your beautiful property to the community and choosing Currumbin Wildlife Hospital and Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary Conservation Programs as beneficiaries of the event. We are beyond grateful for your support and absolutely loved being involved. We are already looking forward to the next Open Garden!

If you are interested in hosting your own fundraising event, please get in touch to choose us as your Charity of Choice.
