Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary has three main wedding venue locations to choose from.
However with a 27 hectare property to play with we are sure to find a location that is the perfect fit for you.

FIG TREE POND

A canopy of trees with sweeping branches and waterfalls with a surrounding pond create this picturesque venue that offers a relaxed open-air feel.

A majestic fig tree reflecting the history of the Sanctuary stands proudly nearby overlooking Fig Tree Pond, a popular location that caters to larger guest numbers. It is a perfect spot for group photos.

LOST VALLEY RAINFOREST

Covering five hectares of natural rainforest, Lost Valley is the most secluded ceremony venue in the Sanctuary.

Drink in the serene beauty as you and your guests stroll along elevated timber boardwalks onto a suspended platform set in the centre of an incredible free-flight aviary. Surrounded by cascading waterfalls and the sounds of the rainforest this space offers a peaceful and tranquil setting, a whole world away from the busy Gold Coast.

WILD SKIES ARENA

The Wild Skies Arena features tiered seating for up to 100 guests under a weatherproof sail. This venue also features a running waterfall and lagoon space. The Wild Skies arena is also available as a wet weather backup option for our outdoor ceremony locations.

RECEPTION LOCATIONS

Immerse yourself in the wonder and natural beauty of this iconic venue and fully explore the amazing and unique reception venues available at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.
Choose from a bush garden setting, large open decks and terraces, outdoor spaces adorned with ambient lighting for a touch of romance, intimate outdoor function spaces and fun places.

THE VILLAGE DECK & VILLAGE GREEN

Imagine the flexibility to celebrate with your guests in a venue that feels outdoor yet offers the comfort and security of an indoor venue. This option ticks all of the boxes. With a large wooden covered deck overlooking a lush green lawn lit by ambient festoon and fairy lights, a fully-equipped bar and loads of space to dance the night away you and your guests can celebrate in style.

MELALEUCA LAWN

Surrounded by nature, in the heart of the Sanctuary. You can hear the calls of the wild under a twinkling night sky.

This stunning outdoor venue is sure to impress your guests. Adjacent to the Melaleuca Lawn is Pelican Point, the perfect spot for pre-dinner cocktails and canapes.

THE HOMESTEAD

Located within the Kangaroo Paddock, The Homestead features a large indoor dining space with wrap around balconies and a beer garden. Currently under construction this venue will be available for bookings from July 2024.

The Experience

SANCTUARY MINIATURE RAILWAY

What better way to get your guests to the ceremony spot than the Currumbin Wildlife miniature railway line. The groom and your guests will be able to take the miniature railway to the nearest station to your ceremony location. An experience your guests are sure to enjoy. At the end of the ceremony guests can take the railway to your chosen reception venue as well.

PHOTO OPPORTUNITIES

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is a 27 hectare property meaning we have plenty of great locations on site for your photos. Our staff can recommend a number of great spots on site and will even buggy you and your photographer to capture the perfect photos in time before the sun sets.
