Dino-mite Things to Do With the Kids These Winter School Holidays
The Winter School Holidays (June 22- July 21) are going to be ROAR-some at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary!
Check out the Dino themed craft at the Wild Burgers stage, before joining the ALL NEW Dino-Mite Explorers on an exciting journey through the prehistoric world of dinosaurs!
Dive into the fascinating realm of paleontology as we sing, dance, and discover alongside our adorable baby dinosaur friends, Stella, Razor, and Chompa. This lively and educational show brings the wonders of ancient Earth to life, making it an unforgettable adventure for all ages.
Catch the show daily at 10.15am and 12.30pm at the Wild Burgers stage. Included in General admission, no bookings required.
After the show make sure you complete the Scaly Scavenger Hunt!
All guests will receive a FREE Scavenger Hunt card on entry to the park, with their map. Participants will need to find the answers to five questions, all to be found at different locations around Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.
Once complete, follow the details on the card to enter the competition to go into the draw to WIN a Scaly Wildlife Adventure for four people!
And don’t forget to really step back in time on the Extinction Trail, a family favourite at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary.
Come face to face with giant life like model dinosaurs, including Velociraptors, Austrosaurus and Muttaburrasaurus! Learn how dinosaurs lived, how the earth changed during this time period and what was behind the mass extinction that wiped out three quarters of the earth’s plant and animal species.
Aspiring archaeologists can even get their hands dirty and unearth dinosaur fossils!
