Hospital & Conservation Day 2024 – Working with Wildlife
This is going to be WILD!
Have you ever wanted to know what it’s like to have a career working with wildlife? Maybe as a Koala keeper? Or conservation specialist?
Do you want to see what happens behind the scenes at Currumbin Wildlife Hospital? Find out what it takes to save wildlife and work in a fast-paced veterinary hospital?
This is your chance!
On Saturday the 24th of August, we’re holding our first ever Hospital & Conservation Day!
Our wildlife hospital doors are only open one day a year to the general public, so this is your chance to go behind the scenes*, meet our veterinary staff, conservation specialists, wildlife keepers and find out exactly what it takes to work with wildlife!
There will be so much to see and do for all ages, including keeper talks, career advice, plus University and TAFE information booths.
*Guided hospital tours are available for an additional donation of just $50, with all proceeds going to help treat, rehabilitate and release sick and injured wildlife. Limited spots available, book now!
This event is all included in your General Admission to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary. Free for members. We are also offering $20 Student General Admission tickets (usually $52) for this day only. Just show your student ID on entry.
This will be a day not to be missed!
