Reminder: Take Care on the Road as Koala Trauma Season Continues

Jessica the Koala serves a reminder to all motorists to take care on the roads and be aware of wildlife this festive season. Currumbin Wildlife Hospital sees a significant increase in trauma cases from August-December throughout trauma season.

Jessica the Koala was unfortunately struck by a vehicle and required specialist surgery at Veterinary Specialist Services (VSS) in Carrara. Jessica is now rehabilitating at Currumbin Wildlife Hospital and will likely be a long-term patient until she is strong enough to be released back into the wild.
