Join the Animal Encounters team as we get up close and personal with Torembi, the Goodfellow’s Tree Kangaroo. This endangered species of Macropod is native to the rainforests of Papua New Guinea and is one of the newest members of the Sanctuary family. Learn what makes this aboral species unique and discover how they are different to their land-dwelling cousins. Time: 9:30am start (9am check-in at Visitor Services)

Price: $59 per person

Positions Available: 2 per session

Participants must be over the age of 8

Terms & Conditions

Participants must check in at Visitor and Member Services by 9am
Participants must be over the age of 8 to participate, any child aged 8 to 14 must be accompanied by a paying adult.
Sanctuary entry is not included in the experience and all participants must have valid Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary General Admission to gain admission.
All guests must sign a waiver form prior to their experience (this is completed at time of purchase)
Guests are not allowed to take any personal items on this encounter that includes, bags ect. Phones and camera are acceptable
No walking aids or wheelchairs are permitted as there are uneven surfaces
All participants must follow all instructions and direction given by the keepers and if they fail to do so may be removed from the program and not issued a refund.
Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary takes all necessary precautions to ensure the safety of our guests participating in this encounter, it does not take responsibility for any injuries, damage to clothing or persons or death incurred during the experience by any of our guests; first aid will be available on location for minor injuries if required.
Participants should wear appropriate closed in footwear during the experience, no high heels or sandals.
