We are currently improving Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary with new and exciting developments underway.
The following attractions have planned closures over the coming weeks:
- No trains will be operating from Monday, 17th to Friday, 21st of February due to essential track maintenace.
- The Land of Parrots aviary (map ref. S10) is temporarily closed due to some exciting upgrades.
- As we near the launch of Astra Lumina Gold Coast in March 2025, you may experience some minor disruptions in the Sanctuary. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
- Weekly track maintence every Wednesday until 11.30am except during Queensland school holidays. No trains operate during this time. After that, trains operate per usual schedule until 4pm.
- Weekly closure of The Homestead on Tuesdays. Check out Wild Burgers or the Sanctuary Café for delicious lunch options.
- Weekly cleaning and maintenance is undertaken on the Wild Island Splash Zone every Thursday until 11:00am.
