Something ROAR-some is coming
June 1 is National Dinosaur Day and to celebrate Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is going wild about Dinosaurs!
Visit Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary on Saturday June 1st for some extra special Dinosaur activities, including a Dinosaur Dance party and face painting! Don’t forget to dress up in your favourite Dinosaur outfit!
Keep your eyes peeled for more exciting announcements and activities to come…but in the meantime guests can scrub up on their dinosaur knowledge by visiting the family favourite Extinction Trail.
Come face to face with giant life like model dinosaurs, including velociraptors, Austrosaurus and Muttaburrasaurus, as you step back in time to millions of years ago!
Learn how dinosaurs lived, how the earth changed during this time period and what was behind the mass extinction that wiped out three quarters of the earth’s plant and animal species.
Aspiring archaeologists can even get their hands dirty and unearth dinosaur fossils!
Entry to Extinction Trail is included in your general admission ticket.
