Did you know it takes up to 1,000 gum trees to feed just one Koala for a year?

With over 50 Koalas at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, and the hundreds more that come through Currumbin Wildlife Hospital yearly, these trees are in high demand. Our four Koala fodder plantations contain around 38,000 eucalypt trees. These trees however have a limited lifespan due to constant harvesting.

It's important that we continue to plant enough trees to ensure there is a food source available for Koalas in the future. For as little as $10, you can help support the future generation of Koalas.
