Did you know that koalas are classified as vulnerable in Queensland? Sadly, this means there is a real and significant risk of koalas becoming extinct in our local area.
One of the major threats to our local koala population is the loss of their unique habitat, primarily due to land clearing for housing and agricultural development. The threats to our wild koalas continue to grow and the Wildlife Hospital now treats over 450 wild koalas every year.
Please help us continue the treatment and care of these beautiful Aussie icons by donating to our Tree to Me Program today. For as little as $10, you can help us continue to plant eucalypt trees in our Plantations.

Leave a charitable bequest in your will and help save Australia’s native wildlife.
The thousands of animals that come through Currumbin Wildlife Hospital each year are released back into the wild to breed and produce future generations.
A gift in your will can help us continue to provide treatment to the animals that are rescued and brought in, as well as helping to find cures to diseases affecting these animals and provide education so you can trust our local wildlife will be left in good hands.
