WANT TO BE A CONSERVATION CHAMPION?

Come and experience Volunteering – help your community, utilise your life skills, meet new people in the great outdoors and spend some time around our native animals. Here at National Trust - Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, we offer three long-term volunteering programs. Whether you are an individual or a member of a community group, we invite you to come and volunteer for an iconic Gold Coast not-for-profit organisation. Every volunteer participant is supporting the operations of the Sanctuary or Wildlife Hospital, making you a Conservation Champion!

Wildlife Ambulance Volunteer

An important role alternating between driving and accompanying the driver in the Currumbin Wildlife Hospital branded Animal Ambulance van. In this role, no two journeys are the same but your volunteering will involve bringing injured wildlife to the hospital, or take rehabilitated patients to reside with a rehab carer, or release them back to their home.
