Explore the FANGtuary…if you dare!

From Friday, October 29 – Sunday, October 31, you’re invited dress up in your Halloween scariest for a frightfully good time!

Explore Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary by night. Start off the evening with a ride on the Ghost Train. Little monsters aged 3-13 will love our haunted house and trick or treating, as well as a terror-ific jumping castle!

Even zombies will be up on their feet doing the Monster Mash, with thrilling live entertainment throughout the evening.

VIP treatment that’s to die for!

Purchase VIP tickets for a whole host of perks that are to die for, including express entry, free face painting, showbags and a jam-packed, delicious hamper.

General admission holders can also purchase show bags and face painting on the night.

Who’s afraid of the dark?

While some of our animals will be asleep, plenty of our residents will be around to say “boo”! Be enchanted by night-dwellers in the Nocturnal Zone and get closer to wandering wildlife.

Some of the nocturnal animals who are asleep during our usual opening hours will be at their most active during this event. While the dark might be a bit scary for us, many of the creatures who live at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary feel most comfortable at night.

Get a bite with a fright!

The popular Sanctuary Markets will be open on Friday October 29 from 4-9pm, so you can fuel up before the big event. The Sanctuary Café will also be open for a bite or a bevvy.

Inside the Sanctuary, you can sink your fangs into delicious treats from our outlets. Wild Burgers will be operating with special Halloween food and beverage deals and there will be plenty pop-up snack options throughout. For the sweet tooth, our Wild Things Candy Store will be fully operational and stocked with loads of candy & ice cream options.

Have a TERROR-ific time

Parking at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary’s car park will be free for ticket holders from 3pm on event days.

The event will go ahead in accordance with all current COVID-safe restrictions. Due to these regulations, we have designed the experience so that it can be moved through in a mostly one-way fashion. You will journey through the Sanctuary on the Ghost Train. We encourage guests to stay within the event space throughout the evening. If you require a pass out, please see a staff member on site to arrange this.

Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by a paying adult. All guests are encouraged to dress up. Please note that dangerous items, including weapons and laser pointers are prohibited.

Some locations will make use of visual and audio effects, including strobe lights, which may not be suitable for guests with a history of vertigo, epilepsy, seizures, claustrophobia, heart disorders and high blood pressure. If you require any assistance, please approach the nearest staff member- we are here to help!
