What’s On This Month?
Don’t Miss Out on These Awesome Activities!
There’s something for everyone. We can’t wait to see you!

It’s National Science Week!
Follow the footprints
From 9 – 17 August, become a wildlife detective as we celebrate National Science Week! Pick up an instruction card when you arrive and set off on a forensic adventure to find and identify animal footprints hidden around the Sanctuary. Match each one to the right animal, and if you get them all correct, you’ll reveal a very special surprise message. Return your card before 4pm on the day you visit for a nice prize! It’s a fun, educational activity for the whole family, and perfect for curious kids and nature lovers of all ages.
Cotton-Top Tamarin Day
It’s Pablo and Arami’s very special day on the 15th August! 🐒 Have you met this cheeky duo yet? These Cotton-top Tamarin brothers are incredibly intelligent, inquisitive and they looove a snack. You can learn more about them in our daily Lost Valley Boardwalk Talk or directly interact with them in a special close-up encounter.

World Goat Day
Who let the goats out… Cancel any plans you had on Thursday, 21st August – it’s Goat Day and the herd of Nigerian Dwarf Goats will be out and about, and keen to play! 😍🐐 Head to Outback Springs to meet with Gary, Nigel, Mervin and friends. Caution: These guys don’t know the meaning of personal space. More details to come!

Wildlife for Tomorrow Charity Gala
Join us for an unforgettable evening dedicated to raising vital funds and giving a voice to Australia’s endangered wildlife. Held at The Homestead, nestled within 65 acres of heritage-listed rainforest at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, this signature fundraising event brings together changemakers, conservationists, community leaders, and wildlife advocates for a night of purpose, connection, and impact.
