Radiated Tortoise Keeper Talks
Step into the world of one of the most beautiful and endangered tortoises on Earth. Join the Wildlife Keepers as they share the history of the Radiated Tortoise and the urgent conservation efforts helping to protect this species in the wild. Discover the unique story of how these five tortoises came to live here at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, and learn what it takes to care for them every day. During the talk, you’ll see the Keepers feed the tortoises and demonstrate the simple but essential husbandry routines that keep them healthy and thriving.

Wildlife for Tomorrow Charity Gala
Join us for an unforgettable evening dedicated to raising vital funds and giving a voice to Australia’s endangered wildlife. Held at The Homestead, nestled within 65 acres of heritage-listed rainforest at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, this signature fundraising event brings together changemakers, conservationists, community leaders, and wildlife advocates for a night of purpose, connection, and impact.

Backyard Bee Keeping Workshop
Backyard Bee Keeping is back this Spring! If you love bees and helping local wildlife thrive, then this workshop is for you! Once again, we’ve partnered up with the amazing Steve Maginnity from The Australian Native Bee Company to deliver a community workshop on all things native beekeeping. Learn all about social native bee species found in South East Queensland, connect with fellow bee enthusiasts and build your skills to help them thrive in your very own backyard.
