What’s On This Month?

It’s National Science Week!
Follow the footprints
From 9 – 17 August, become a wildlife detective as we celebrate National Science Week! Pick up an instruction card when you arrive and set off on a forensic adventure to find and identify animal footprints hidden around the Sanctuary. Match each one to the right animal, and if you get them all correct, you’ll reveal a very special surprise message. Return your card before 4pm on the day you visit for a nice prize! It’s a fun, educational activity for the whole family, and perfect for curious kids and nature lovers of all ages.
Wildlife for Tomorrow Charity Gala
Join us for an unforgettable evening dedicated to raising vital funds and giving a voice to Australia’s endangered wildlife. Held at The Homestead, nestled within 65 acres of heritage-listed rainforest at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, this signature fundraising event brings together changemakers, conservationists, community leaders, and wildlife advocates for a night of purpose, connection, and impact.

Stay tuned for these events coming soon…

Jingeri – Hello
We respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the greater Yugambeh language region, the Country on which Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and Hospital are situated today. We recognise their continuing connections to the land, sky, waters (waterways), and wildlife. We thank them for caring for this Country and its ecosystems.
We celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, and we pay our respect to Elders past and present.
