Meet Boss Hogg

At nearly 5 metres long and weighing around 800 kilograms, Boss Hogg is one of Queensland’s largest Saltwater Crocodiles in specialist care and a true icon of Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary!

He joined the Sanctuary in 2013 after being relocated from far north Queensland, where he made headlines for taking down a valuable Brahman Stud Bull.

Despite his size and strength, Boss Hogg has a softer side. He’s known to sulk at the bottom of his pond when the cheeky water dragons splash in beside him. He might be a bit of a sook, but he's an absolute icon and we wouldn’t have it any other way!
