    Step into Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary's Lost Valley Aviary. Experience the largest walk-through bird aviary in the Southern Hemisphere, an incredible thirty meters tall at its highest point.

    Immerse yourself in a lush, tropical paradise and encounter playful Ring-Tailed Lemurs who roam free. The Lost World Aviary is home to over 100 birds and includes around 20 different species from around the World!

    Some of the birds you may see in the Aviary include Blue and Gold Macaw, Eclectus Parrot, Mandarin Duck, Brown Cuckoo-Dove, Satin Bowerbird, New Guinea Ground-Dove, Wonga Pigeon, White-Headed Pigeon, Buff-Banded Rail, Nicobar Pigeon, and the Luzon Bleeding Heart Dove.

    The Aviary covers 1600m2 and was originally constructed in 1988 but was re-opened in 2018 after a significant revamp.

    The Lost Valley Aviary is one of the largest walk-through aviaries in the whole Southern Hemisphere, reaching a soaring 35 meters at its highest point.
