Conservation Aviary

    Feathered Friends on the Brink

Take a walk alongside the Conservation Aviary, a world of colour, chatter and charm. Home to some of our most precious and rare bird species.

From the dazzling Gouldian Finch to the elusive Macleay's Fig Parrot, these birds aren't just beautiful - they're ambassadors for conservation. Many of these birds are, unfortunately, considered endangered or critically endangered.

    Fun Fact

Many of the birds who reside here are shy, but if you take your time, you may be lucky enough to see the pocket-sized Orange-Bellied Parrot, the cheeky Musk Lorikeet, the stylish Golden Whistler, and the sweetly singing Superb Fairy-wren.
