I'm a Capybara

Meet the Capybaras Jerry and Elaine - the world's biggest rodent! Imagine a guinea pig the size of a large dog - that's how big Jerry and Elaine are.

They're like nature's swimming champions, with special webbed feet for paddling and their eyes, ears, and nose sitting right on top of their head like a submarine's periscope.

Capybaras are water-loving giants that love hanging out near rivers and ponds, munching on plants and playing in the water when they want to cool off or hide from danger.

Fun Fact

Capybaras are like giant swimming guinea pigs - they can hold their breath underwater for up to 5 minutes with their eyes, ears, and nose on top of their head just like tiny periscopes
