FAQs

When and where should I drop off my child?

Drop off is at 8.15am at Village Green, located to the left of the main entrance.

When and where should I pick up my child?

Pick up is at 12pm at Village Green, located to the left of the main entrance for programs from Monday to Thursday. On Fridays, pick up is at 12pm inside the Lorikeet Arena.
Pick up for Native Bee Explorers and Native Bee Explorers Teens is at 12pm at Village Green, located to the left of the main entrance for programs from Monday to Thursday. On Fridays, pick up is at 12pm inside the Lorikeet Arena.

Do I need to pack anything for my child?

Yes! Please pack some snacks and reusable water bottle. We will provide everything else needed to complete the program. Make sure you pack light as there will be plenty of walking throughout the program.

What should my child wear?

Make sure your child wears enclosed shoes. We also recommend bringing a hat, sun care and insect repellent.

Can I enter the Sanctuary while my child is doing the program?

Absolutely! We often have parents or guardians that will buy an entry ticket and enjoy their day while their child is doing the holiday program. There are plenty of things to see and do for the grown ups too!

Please note, parents or guardians can't join their child's group.

What happens in wet weather?

We dance in the rain! No, but in all seriousness, programs will go ahead in the event of light rain. We suggest packing a raincoat especially in wetter months. Please note that umbrellas are not allowed inside the Sanctuary for safety reasons. We will contact you if the program gets cancelled due to unsafe weather.
