Learn what it takes to save Australia’s wildlife!
Wildlife Heroes Day at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is your chance to celebrate, meet and honour the people who dedicate their lives to protecting Australia’s wildlife.
From the tireless vets and vet nurses at Currumbin Wildlife Hospital, to the conservation specialists working to save endangered species, and to the Sanctuary’s founder Alex Griffiths – the original Wildlife Hero – this day honours their passion, dedication, and lasting impact.
On Saturday October 4th, Alex Griffiths’ birthday weekend, Wildlife Heroes Day is a celebration of the legacy of care he began more than 75 years ago and shines a light on the vital work that continues at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary today. It is a day to meet the heroes, learn their stories, and be inspired to become wildlife heroes ourselves.
For this day only – add a VIP hospital tour for just $50 per person. This is a behind-the-scenes VIP tour of Currumbin Wildlife Hospital – one of the busiest Wildlife Hospitals in the world. There are limited tours available, each group will have a maximum of 8 people. Hospital tours must be pre booked, limited spots available.
