The Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary Team

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary has been an icon of the Gold Coast for almost 80 years, dedicated to protecting and conserving our natural environment and the animals within it. None of the work we do is possible without our incredible team members!

Our cohesive, positive and driven workforce is made up of 3 sectors: Employees, Volunteers and Trainees. Each of these sectors work together closely to make the Sanctuary run smoothly, and care for our wildlife and the world around us.

Jingeri – Hello

We respectfully acknowledge the Traditional Custodians of the greater Yugambeh language region, the Country on which Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary and Hospital are situated today. We recognise their continuing connections to the land, sky, waters (waterways), and wildlife. We thank them for caring for this Country and its ecosystems.

We celebrate Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, and we pay our respect to Elders past and present.
