The following areas or attractions will be closed to the public in the coming weeks:

Dining

Limited opening hours

The Homestead is open for lunch from Friday to Sunday only, with additional opening hours during school holidays.

Railway

Weekly maintenance

Every Wednesday, trains don’t operate until 12pm due to weekly track maintenance (except during Queensland school holidays). After that, trains run per usual schedule until 4pm.

Attractions

Weekly maintenance

Every Thursday, Wild Island Splash Zone remains closed until 11am due to weekly cleaning and maintenance. After that, the attraction is open and running as normal.

FAQs

What are Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary's opening hours?

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is open from 9am to 4pm every day, except ANZAC Day (April 25) and Christmas Day (December 25). Last admissions at 3.30pm daily.

Astra Lumina is open from Wednesday to Saturday with the first sessions starting after dark, which depends on the season.

The Lorikeet feeding is held daily at 8am and 4pm.

Is there car parking available at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary?

Yes, there is a large car park opposite the main entrance on Tomewin Street, Currumbin. The car park is open from 7.30am - 5.30pm daily. 

Parking is $10 per car for all-day parking. Parking is free for National Trust of Australia (Queensland) members. 

What if I need to change my booking?

Don’t worry if your plans have changed. You can manage your booking via the Manage Booking link in your confirmation email. You will be able to change your booking, such as choosing a different date to visit.
