FAQs

What are Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary's opening hours?

Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary is open from 9am to 4pm every day, except ANZAC Day (April 25) and Christmas Day (December 25). Last admissions at 3.30pm daily.

Astra Lumina is open from Wednesday to Saturday with the first sessions starting after dark, which depends on the season.

The Lorikeet feeding is held daily at 8am and 4pm.

Is there car parking available at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary?

Yes, there is a large car park opposite the main entrance on Tomewin Street, Currumbin. The car park is open from 7.30am - 5.30pm daily. 

Parking is $10 per car for all-day parking. Parking is free for National Trust of Australia (Queensland) members. 

What if I need to change my booking?

Don’t worry if your plans have changed. You can manage your booking via the Manage Booking link in your confirmation email. You will be able to change your booking, such as choosing a different date to visit.

If you need help to change your booking, please email our friendly Visitor Services team visitorservices@cws.org.au and they’ll be happy to help.

Do I need to pre-book for shows, presentations and keeper talks?

No bookings required! All conservation shows, presentations and keeper talks are included in your entry ticket. View all times here.

Should I pre-book encounters and experiences?

Yes, we recommend pre-booking an encounter or experience prior to your visit as spaces are limited. You can browse and book them here.
