Foundational Supporters of the Currumbin Wildlife Institute Unite
Construction is now officially underway on the Currumbin Wildlife Institute, which will be a world-class facility set to transform wildlife care from emergency response to science-led conservation, research and education.

Community spirit was in full swing when the first sod was turned on the World-Class Currumbin Wildlife Institute on Friday the 27th of March.
We are extremely grateful to everyone who celebrated this wonderful milestone at either the Ceremony or the Lunch at The Homestead.
Construction is now officially underway on the Currumbin Wildlife Institute, which will be a world-class facility set to transform wildlife care from emergency response to science-led conservation, research and education.
This $17m project is backed by all three levels of government, with $14m funding secured for construction.
The remaining $3m is still required to finalise the construction, fit-out and to purchase essential equipment.
Remarkable members of the Currumbin community have already stepped up to show their support by becoming foundational supporters.

Community Bank Tugun kindly led the way by donating significant funds towards this world-class institute.
Philanthropist of the Year 2024, Maureen Stevenson, pledged the very first piece of equipment on the Wish List.

This philanthropy has encouraged the generosity of other amazing people both in Currumbin and across the globe.
We are extremely excited for the future of saving precious Australian wildlife when the new Institute opens late 2027.
Please join us on this journey.
