The Forest Fringe Aviary

Step inside a slice of haven where the rainforest meets open woodland - the Forest Fringe Aviary! This ecotone possesses a great diversity of species, making the best of both worlds.

This aviary is home to the Wompoo Fruit Dove, White-Browed Woodswallow, Pied Stilt, Rose-Crowned Fruit-Dove, Bar-Shouldered Dove, Crested Pigeon and Brush Bronzewing Pigeon.

Fun Fact

The Crested Pigeon has a distinctive thin black crest and can often be found in urban areas of Australia.
